This event takes place on November 5th in Detroit Michigan at Wayne State University Student Center.

AdCon 2016 is a must-attend event for students/new grads considering/entering the field of advertising and young professionals (with under 5 years of experience). AdCon hosts more than 400 attendees who are interested in learning more about what it’s like to work in the advertising and marketing communications industry. Hear what ad agency, corporate and start up life is like from some of the area’s top professionals, with a focus on dialogue between presenters and attendees. Students and young professionals will also have the opportunity to directly network with experts, panelists and executives and receive valuable resume, portfolio and interview tips from recruiters. Spartan International Advertising is a great way to increase your knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work in an international setting. We've had professionals from big-name companies like Google and Grey Advertising, from around the world like England and Dubai. Not only will you learn about international advertising, but it's a great networking opportunity and you'll get invaluable advice and resources for your career. All meetings will be every 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month from 6pm to 8pm, and will be held in room 165 of the Communication Arts and Sciences Building.
